Context
StandardAI is an AI-driven platform designed for retailers seeking insights into shopper behavior, product performance, and store operations.
As they geared up for their next investment round, design became critical for establishing brand identity and developing an internal dashboard tool called Vision to organize analytics.
PROBLEM
The previous open-source design system at StandardAI was not fully accessible for Visions complex data visuals, imposed heavy demands on the development team, and failed to establish strong branding.
GOALS
Solution
Introducing a toolkit to create a cohesive experience for external + internal tools.
Through this custom system, products are better aligned with the company’s brand, easier to navigate, and more efficient to develop and maintain.
Considerations
With limited time, I discovered new use cases and expanded the component library.
FEATURE PRIORITIZATION
Strategized with team to focus on two areas: branding components and data charts.
SIGNIFICANCE
With the AI market projected to grow to $190 billion by 2025, the demand for AI-driven products is rapidly increasing. This platform offers retailers real-time insights into shopper behavior and product performance accross every industry.
Challenge
Color shade ranges
How might we make the shade palette more accessible for complex visualizations?
Refined on actual charts and iterate.
